I was asked to build an interactive course using an old PowerPoint document created by the original SME.
To do this, I broke down the key points within the file and adapted them into various interactive segments (from clickable images to click and drag exercises).
For the branding, I decided to use the same colours used for the company logo (eCoach) to make it instantly recognisable.
Whilst the content had already been put together, I found that I had to alter it to fit the interactive environment. So to make it more engaging for learners, I wrote it – not only to inform (a how to use) but also as an ongoing scenario. By doing this, I feel that the learner is involved as it puts them within the situation, making it more relevant and easier to retain the information presented to them.
